The essentials

Ingredients
- 300 grams of Bovì beef slices (you can find them in the Bovì Box under the name "cutlets")
- 100 grams of diced cooked ham
- 80 grams of mozzarella (about half the classic portion) cut into cubes
- 200 grams of tomato puree
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt , pepper, sage herb
Method
Start by preparing all the necessary ingredients: cut the cooked ham and mozzarella into cubes.
Using a meat mallet, thin the slices of meat. Place the steaks on a cutting board and place a little cooked ham and mozzarella in the middle of each slice, taking care to stay in the middle.
Roll the meat on itself and close the rolls with toothpicks . Using a non-stick pan , heat a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil , then brown the rolls on each side .
When the browning is complete, add the tomato puree , a pinch of salt, pepper and the sage herb. Leave on the heat for at least 10 minutes on medium heat .
