In fact, in local BBQs the skewer has always accompanied salami, ribeye and ribs.
Skewers are a delicious product and every chef loves to compose and cook skewers according to typical family recipes. There are those who prefer pork skewers, others instead of mixed meats between chicken and pork, with onion, without onion or other vegetables.
Ours are like this: pork, red peppers, turkey breast, sausage and yellow peppers. Cooking the skewers on the grill releases the typical aroma of summer barbecues.
Grilled skewers are fantastic, but this product also lends itself to different, more domestic preparations. Pan-fried skewers or baked skewers are equally succulent and can be accompanied by salads or sautéed vegetables.
