Extended description :
Paulownia (Paulownia tomentosa) is one of the fastest growing plants in the world, capable of reaching several meters in height in just a few years. This characteristic makes it a powerful ally in absorbing CO2.
Its large leaves are a much appreciated forage by herbivores, and create real "vertical pastures". Its flowers, rich in nectar, nourish pollinators and contribute to the production of a honey similar to that of acacia due to its organoleptic characteristics.
Although it is not native, the specimens used in the project are sterile hybrids, which avoid the risk of invasiveness and guarantee splendid blooms without the formation of seeds.
